as the coronavirus continues to spread through connecticut, the state is rolling out collection sites for virus testing.
all collections are made by appointment-only, and patients need a physician order to book an appointment. most collections are done via drive-thru, though some require people to get out of their cars.
when patients arrive for drive-thru testing, they can remain in their vehicles while staff swab their mouth and nose. specimens are sent to a lab for processing and can be ready anywhere from the same day to five days later.

bridgeport hospital, 267 grant st., 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on saturday

greenwich hospital, employee parking lot on lake avenue, 8 a.m-5 p.m., monday-friday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., saturday-sunday
murphy medical associates, 1000 main st., 10 a.m.- noon, monday-friday
murphy medical associates, 2 renshaw road, 1-5 p.m., monday-saturday (testing here was canceled on thursday afternoon)
